The Landing
Yn gwreiddiol o Manceinion. Dwi di byw yn Osaka, Japan a wedyn wnes i symyd i fy nghartref cyfredol yn Ynys Môn, Gogledd Cymru yn Tachwedd 2016.
Y brif thema o fy ngwaith yw breuddwydion a’r isymwybod ddynol. Dwi gyda diddordeb arbennig mewn celf sy’n uniongyrchol ar freuddwydion a chreadigrwydd awtamatig y tu hwnt i reolaeth ymwybodol yr artist.
Dechreuais fel ffotograffydd a dylunydd graffig ond newidiais yn bennef i gelf fideo a ffilmiau byr ar ôl darganfod sut y gall cyfrwng fideo gyfuno fy holl sgiliau.
Rwy’n defnyddio propiau bywyd go iawn a delweddau a gynhyrchir gan gyfrifiadur i greu delweddau o sefyllfaoedd swrrealaidd ac aml yn doniol, situations.
Originally from Manchester, I lived in Osaka, Japan, and then moved to my current home of Anglesey, North Wales in November 2016.
The main theme of my work is dreams and the human subconscious. I am particularly interested in art based directly upon dreams and automatic creativity, beyond the conscious control of the artist.
I started as a photographer and graphic designer but switched primarily to video art and short films after discovering how the medium of video can combine all my skills. I use real-life props and computer-generated imagery to create visualisations of surreal and often humorous situations.
